Ray of Hope Trust's 'Prayaas (School to School)' initiative helps children from low-income families, tribal areas, remote villages and urban slums access education.

Why Education

Offering education to underprivileged children is the best place to start if we want to solve issues with healthcare, poverty, unemployment, population control, and human rights. Beyond securing a stable future, education helps youngsters develop into responsible citizens of their country and the world. Following its enactment in 2010, the Right to Education Act mandated that all children between the ages of 6 to 14 receive free and compulsory education. Even after ten years, however, many children in the nation have not experienced a stable learning curve. Barriers that keep man's children from receiving an education include the socioeconomic status of their parents and inadequate instruction in schools.

What we

The flagship program of the Ray of Hope Trust 'Prayaas (School to School)' works to empower impoverished children by offering wellness assistance, nutrition, and education. The program is in line with both the 2020 New Education Policy and SDG Goal 4, which calls for ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting opportunities for lifelong learning for everyone. Children (3–18 years old) living in challenging situations, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, children stranded in disasters, abandoned and street children, and children living in tribal belts, distant villages, and difficult-to-reach places are all served by 'Prayaas (School to School)'.

What we do

Under this project we have reached out to more than 1000+ children and have been providing quality education since 2017 either through volunteerism or by giving scholarships for study. Also donating school supplies (Backpacks, Notebooks, Pens etc.)
